The upper half of the chopper is made of beautiful brushed stainless-steel with a transparent plastic bowl on the lower half for watching the chopping process. Pump the non-skid handle up and down and the zig-zag-shaped blade cuts and then rotates to cut at a different angle during with the following pump for more precise chopping. The bowl easily twists off the chopper for filling and emptying and secures back on with a twist in the opposite direction. A pointed stand on the chopper’s underside props it up so the blade doesn’t touch the tabletop and also assists in scooping stray pieces of vegetable from the lip of the cup.
