The antique look of these salt and pepper shakers puts them right at home in a kitchen with exposed brick walls and racks of copper pots. Keep them handy on the stove where they'll season up stews and roasts with a good hearty shake. A grapevine motif is hand-embossed around the middle of each shaker by skilled artisans, adding to the old-fashioned quality. Each features a squared riveted handle and a plastic plug underneath; the only difference between the two is the number of holes in the domed top. While copper cookware often comes with a lacquer that needs to be removed before use, the lacquer on the salt and pepper shakers does not require removal. Splatters from cooking can be cleaned off with a soft sponge and detergent; abrasive pads and cleansers will scratch the surface. Each shaker measures 4-1/4 inches tall and 2-3/4 inches in diameter, excluding the handle.
